2013-2015 Call for FDR Collaborative Research Projects in Dystonia.

FDR makes grants available for collaborative research on primary dystonia and dystonia-plus syndromes. The research should lead to a better understanding of the pathogenesis of dystonia and contribute to improve the diagnosis of the disease and the treatment of persons with dystonia.

Research proposals have to cover a two-year award period (October 2013-September 2015) and be submitted by at least two collaborating research groups (one coordinating laboratory and one or more partners), with an overall maximum budget of €200 000 (incl. bonus for exchange of researchers). Applicants should prove experience in dystonia research or related fields, and indicate the added value of their collaboration.

A total of three grants will be awarded. Funding starts on October 1, 2013.
